Doh

/doʊ/ interjection

An exclamation expressing frustration, annoyance, or the realization of an obvious mistake. Made famous by the cartoon character Homer Simpson.

Popularized by 'The Simpsons' animated series beginning in 1989, voiced by Dan Castellaneta. The expression was inspired by Jimmy Finlayson's 'Doooh!' in Laurel and Hardy films, though Castellaneta shortened it to a more grunt-like sound.
