Duende

A quality of passion, inspiration, and mysterious power in art, especially in flamenco; the spirit of evocation and dark, earth-bound passion.

From Spanish 'duende' (ghost/goblin), but given its artistic meaning by Federico García Lorca, who described it as 'a power, not a work; a struggle, not a thought.' It rises from the earth and burns through the artist.
