Dunne

A dull grayish-brown color, or sometimes a variant spelling of the color 'dun.'

From Old English 'dunn,' possibly from Old Norse 'donn' or related to Sanskrit 'dhúman' (meaning 'smoke'). The color was named after the dull brown-gray appearance of smoke or earth.
