Relating to Estonia, its people, or their language. As a noun, refers to a person from Estonia or the Finno-Ugric language spoken there.

From Estonia, the country name which derives from the Latin 'Aestii', used by the Roman historian Tacitus to describe Baltic peoples. The modern country name emerged in the medieval period and became standardized during Estonia's independence movements.
