Euphoria

A feeling of intense excitement and happiness; an overwhelming sense of well-being or elation.

From Greek euphoria meaning 'power of enduring easily,' combining eu- (good, well) and pherein (to bear). Originally a medical term describing the comfortable feeling of a patient, it evolved to mean any intense positive emotional state.
