Extraversion

A personality trait characterized by sociability, assertiveness, positive emotionality, and a tendency to seek stimulation from the external world.

From Latin 'extra' (outside) + 'vertere' (to turn). Coined by Carl Jung as 'extraversion' (turning outward).
