Forward

Forward means toward the front or in the direction you are facing. As an adjective, it can describe something that is ahead in time or progress, or a person who is bold, sometimes too bold.

From Old English “forweard,” combining “fore” (front) and the suffix “-weard” (toward). It originally described physical direction and later gained time and social meanings.
