Gravitate

To gravitate toward something means to be naturally drawn or attracted to it. In science, it can also mean to move toward another object because of gravity.

“Gravitate” comes from Modern Latin “gravitare,” meaning to weigh down, from “gravitas,” heaviness. It was first used in physics and later took on a more general sense of attraction.
