Growth

Growth is the process of becoming larger, stronger, or more advanced. It can refer to living things, like a child’s growth, or to non-living things, like economic growth or personal growth.

Formed from the verb “grow” with the noun ending “-th,” similar to “warm” → “warmth.” It appeared in Middle English as a way to name the process or result of growing.
