Homepage

A homepage is the main page of a website, usually the first page you see when you visit the site’s address. It often gives an overview and links to other sections.

Formed in English from “home,” meaning main or starting place, and “page,” meaning a single screen of a website. The term became common in the early days of the World Wide Web in the 1990s.
