Juice

Juice is the liquid that comes from fruits, vegetables, or meat. As a verb, to juice means to squeeze or press something to get its liquid out.

From Old French “jus” meaning “broth” or “juice”, from Latin “jus” meaning “sauce” or “liquid from meat”. It broadened in English to include the natural liquids of fruits and vegetables.
