Recite

/rɪˈsaɪt/ verb

To say something aloud from memory, often poetry or a prepared speech, or to list off facts one after another.

From Old French 'reciter' and Latin 'recitare' (re- 'again' + citare 'to summon'). Originally meant 'to read aloud' and evolved to mean 'to repeat from memory.'
