Shoddy

Of very poor quality, badly made, or done carelessly without proper care or attention.

Originally from 'shoddy' wool, which was reclaimed wool fibers mixed with new wool in 19th-century textile manufacturing. The term became synonymous with cheap, poorly made goods.
