Susceptible

/səˈsɛptəbəl/ adjective

Susceptible means likely to be affected, influenced, or harmed by something. You can be susceptible to diseases, to cold weather, or even to persuasion.

From Late Latin 'susceptibilis' meaning 'capable of receiving', from 'suscipere' (to take up, receive). The idea shifted from simply being able to receive something to being easily affected by it.
