Teal

Teal is a medium blue-green color. It is also the name of a small freshwater duck that has this color on its head or wings.

The color name comes from the bird, the 'teal', whose name is from Middle English 'tele' or 'tele', of uncertain origin. The association with the blue-green shade developed because of the duck’s distinctive markings.
