Definition
Plural form; multiple free gifts, bonuses, or items given without charge.
Etymology
Plural of 'buckshee,' formed by adding -s or -es. The root is the same Hindi loanword 'baksheesh' adapted into English.
Kelly Says
During colonial times, getting buckshees was so common that British slang developed entire phrases around the concept—it became part of the unofficial vocabulary of trade and negotiation.
