Etymology
From Greek 'kephale' (head) + 'algos' (pain) + '-ia' (condition suffix). This is the most direct Greek-rooted medical term for headache, using the standard '-algia' suffix for pain conditions.

Doctors still use 'cephalalgia' today when they want to be precise—it's literally 'head pain' in Greek, but somehow sounds more serious and clinical than simply saying 'headache,' even though they mean the same thing.
