Definition
One who circumvents; a person skilled at finding ways to avoid or get around obstacles, rules, or expectations.
Etymology
From circumvent + -or suffix, an alternative agent noun ending (also seen in 'actor,' 'creator'). The Latin -or suffix is more common in legal and formal English than -er.
Kelly Says
Houdini was history's greatest circumventor—he studied every lock, chain, and restraint ever invented, then figured out how to get out of all of them through ingenuity, physics, and psychological insight.
