Looped

/luːpt/ adjective

Definition

Having the shape of a loop or circle, or describing something that repeats in a cycle; can also mean crazy or drunk.

Etymology

From Middle English 'loop,' possibly from Old Norse 'hlaup' meaning 'to leap.' The shape got its name from the jumping motion, and later colloquial usage extended to mean unhinged or intoxicated.

Kelly Says

Computer programmers use infinite loops to crash systems, but your brain creates beneficial loops when you learn something new—the more you repeat it, the stronger the neural pathway becomes, which is why practice actually makes perfect.
