Mongolian

/mɒŋˈɡoʊliən/ adjective

Definition

Relating to Mongolia, its people, or their language and culture.

Etymology

From Mongolia, ultimately derived from the Mongol word 'Mongγol,' possibly meaning 'brave' or 'eternal fire.' The term became widely known in the West during the Mongol Empire expansion in the 13th century under Genghis Khan.

Kelly Says

The Mongolian language belongs to the Mongolic family and has one of the world's most interesting writing systems - traditional Mongolian script is written vertically from top to bottom in columns running left to right, making it unique among major world languages. Modern Mongolia actually uses Cyrillic script, but there's a growing movement to revive the traditional vertical script.
