Definition
A large white or gray bird with webbed feet that lives near the ocean and often scavenges for food near beaches and cities.
Etymology
From 'sea' and 'gull,' an onomatopoetic word derived from a Celtic root 'gwele' or similar, with the 'gull' sound mimicking the bird's harsh cry.
Kelly Says
Seagulls have learned to peck open French fries bags with surgical precision and remember which stores have the best snack options—they're one of the few wild birds that actively plan food heists like feathered bandits!
