Boundless

/ˈbaʊndləs/ adjective

Definition

Having no boundaries or limits; infinite or unlimited in extent, size, or scope. Often used to describe abstract concepts like imagination, energy, or possibilities.

Etymology

From Middle English 'bound' (limit, boundary) plus '-less' (without). 'Bound' comes from Old French 'bodne', ultimately from Latin 'bodina' meaning 'boundary stone'. The concept emphasizes the absence of restrictions or limitations.

Kelly Says

Originally, 'bounds' were literal stones marking property lines—physical markers you couldn't cross! When something is boundless, it's as if all those boundary stones have been removed, leaving infinite space to roam, whether it's physical space or the realm of possibilities.
