Definition
To multiply or increase something by 100 times; to make 100-fold.
Etymology
From Latin 'centum' (hundred) + '-plicate' (to fold or multiply), formed similarly to 'duplicate' and 'triplicate'.
Kelly Says
While 'centuple' is more common, 'centuplicate' is the fancier, more technical way to say 'make it 100 times bigger'—scientists and mathematicians use it when they want to sound extra precise.
