Channel

/ˈtʃæn.əl/ noun

Definition

A channel is a passage through which something flows, such as water in a narrow sea or information on a TV or online platform. It can also mean a way or route for communication or influence.

Etymology

From Old French 'chanel', from Latin 'canalis' meaning 'groove, waterpipe', from 'canna' meaning 'reed, tube'. It originally referred to physical waterways or pipes.

Kelly Says

Whether it’s water, TV shows, or emotions, a 'channel' is always about creating a path for something to flow. When you 'channel your energy', you’re turning your own mind into a kind of inner riverbed.
